The long awaited (not least by its author) second creature book is finally here !. It explores a range of topics including King John's favourite food, caterpillar dreams, the habits of inanimate objects, life, and death. It has some scoop on the elusive river folk and some complaints against plants. In other words it is all about the time between late April until, well until June 21. Here is the cover image  with a very rare splash of colour. You can buy the book as an e-book or a paperback from any of the Amazon marketplaces.

Project Thicket Lore is another way for the creatures to connect with the various human writers  and scholars who enjoy their company At the moment the Advice Bureau is closed, and it will be another while before another book-project is announced.  Besides, it is good to explore other parts of the Thicket, including the beautiful meadows close to the sea, which is where Forest Allotments can be found. I am absolutely delighted to share Sylvia Petter's blog entry on Creatures Give Advice  Sylvia Petter is an author of several books and multiple flash stories.
